I’ve just learned that Whimsical Walls Stencils, which produces great stencils for kids’ rooms, will be shutting down business on December 31st.
The owner is selling off the remaining stock at a 40% discount until the end of the year, so if you want any of these adorable stencil designs for your own kids’ rooms, hurry and get them before they are all gone.

Not being too handy in the kitchen, I would never have thought to use stencils with food. But if I were getting married today, this is the cake I would want. Featured in Martha Stewart Weddings “Something Borrowed” (Spring 2008), it uses the Damask 5 tier set from Designer Stencils. Designer Stencils offers a large selection of Cake & Confectionery Stencils, as well as stencils for painting.

Today, however, I stumbled across a blog called The Artful Parent which has a great post describing the process of using freezer paper to stencil on fabric, like the t-shirts shown.
